it was my officemate's bday yestereve so they decided to have a small get together and do some drinking session. i was actually on leave and going all the way to cainta just to drink alcohol is not exactly what i call fun. well, hubby asked if he can go with me if ever i'm going. i asked the host if it's ok and she said yes, so we decided to go anyway. hehehe...

i'm glad we went there. saw a couple officemates who already resigned, and got to just relax and bond with officemates, which i've never done before. so there we were, chatting, drinking, and eating to our hearts content till one of got drunk. well, to my surprise, 2 rounds didn't get me... not even the 5th round!!! and to think that it's a hard drink, we were drowning ourselves with our dear old GrandMa. i thought i'd surely be the first to go down, but i was surprised that it's someone who i thought would last longer.  i thought he was losing it when he was starting to get noisy. after a few more shots he really looked drunk so we have to stop him from drinking and standing up cuz he can't carry himself anymore. hahahahaha... he's drunk! well, he's so drunk he doesn't know what he's doing already. the first and only casualty of the night i think.

it was weird, i never thought things like this happen in real life. normally, it's me who's always in his position, always the first to go. so this was actually a first for me. plus, it's the first time i had to tend to someone cuz he threw up all over himself. hehehe... my paternal instinct kicked in, eh? i was looking back on the time where i got so drunk in highschool that i threw up... but it's nothing like this. i mean, i was still able to carry myself all the way to the gutter so that i won't make a mess. plus, i still know what happened that night (i asked him this morning if he remembers everything that happened... he says that it's a blank). we can say that he was TKOed!
